Google can tend to rely too much on the popualrity of a website and disregards all meta tags (unlike Yahoo). This can often make it harder to find exactly what you want.

Google tends to focus it's resources on more popular sites than MSN or Yahoo, and takes longer to list new sites.

If you know what you are looking for is well known, then it works quite well.
Google has very nice services, with the quick and easy to use Gmail, the great Picasa, Google Earth, and the Google Video service that makes publishing video to the web a breeze.

Gmail allows close to 3GB of e-mail storage, and contains googles powerful search feature making finding e-mails so easy. Archive keeps them organised, and the POP feature is a very generous service indeed. Also, adding contacts is made very easy by the Javascript that allows you to type their name, and almost instantly find the e-mail.

Picasa wil find all your Pictures on your computer and see them easily - for free!

Google Earth lets you see your house from the sky (if you're in a well populated area) and get a perpective of how close places are to each other and is quite fun. Bookmarks for locations makes it easy to transfer places of intrest to friends and goto those places quickly for future reference.

But for webmasters, not being able to include relevant keywords in meta tags is disappointing. Relevant keywords don't always fit into the page properly.

I like Google because it is child-friendly (SafeSearch, a content blocker is available), and there are lots of sites lisited.
