I'm ashamed to say that, even as an adult, I love the music on this CD! The kids listen to it in the car and on their little CD player. They are older (8 and 11), so they already knew the lower times tables, but all the songs are great so we listen to them anyway and now they can remember all the numbers. (They go up to 13.)

It's a long CD - definately longer than other kids music - but it has a story to it that follows along with the songs. It's like listening to a book on tape. After years of Barney and SpongeBob (neither did much for my kids' brains), I'm so glad to have something that *I* can sing along with too.

I got Multiplication Vacation as a birthday present from my Aunt who always buys us educational gifts. She said that it reminded her of Schoolhouse Rock that she watched as a kid. I just want other kids to know that this really is a fun CD. My friends and I sing along, dance and act out the jokes. We can't wait for the DVD! From Jason age 11 (Kenora, Ontario)

The songs are catchy my 8 and 9 year olds like the songs but the multiplication parts in the songs are sometimes spaced out with lots of words in between. Very hard to actually memorize times tables...

My kids enjoy listening to the songs, and once the CD turns off I can often hear them humming a few of the tunes and chanting the phrase "googol power." My 4 year old particularly enjoyed "two two two" and "penguin rap" was a big hit with everyone.

I bought this for my 8 year old who is struggling with his tables. He doesn't really care for the songs. I listen to it more than he does! I play it in the car, so maybe by the time my 5 year old gets to 3rd grade she'll know her tables from the songs. The songs are actually quite good, though some parts are a bit corny. You follow aliens as they go on a multiplication vacation around Earth. The songs are about different places, constellations, historical figures, so the kids can learn more than just their multiplication tables. It's a pretty long CD and the lyrics are not designed for quick memorization, so this is not an overnight fix for a struggling student. But it stands up to repeated listening, so if you start early enough, it may do the trick.

Although I thought the songs and talking were pretty cheesy... My kids seem to love it. I have boys ages 4 to 8. They sing along and think the talking parts are funny. Go figure. I guess it's working though. They're learning their multiplication facts.

My kids, 2 and 4, love this CD. They sing along and ask questions about the songs, making a great opportunity to teach them about multiplication. The songs are grown-up friendly, I particularly like the 13 song.

My children LOVE this CD. It has helped them so much with their mulitplication tables. My 8 year old's teacher has asked where to get it as well. Everytime we go somewhere they ask to hear it. Wonderful product!

The music is upbeat and tells a story. I think the kids enjoy this and the addition soundtrack more than any of the educational CD's they have. I wish more learning tapes were this creative!
