This review is from: The Goon Volume 0: Rough Stuff (2nd Edition) (Paperback)
The Goon is my favorite comic The Walking Dead being the follow up ). I love 20's - 60's period pieces, I love zombies and I love comedy. This is all of them mashed into one.

ART: This is the first ever Goon comic so the art is meh. It's truthfully not that good. Even Powell say's so in the beginning. Also, at the end there is a drawing/sketches part showing the early model's of the characters.

BOOK: The book is a standard trade-paper back. If you have ever seen a comic collection, it will be like that.

STORY: The story is pretty decent. Not as intelligent as the newer one's but remember, this is his first.

Overall, if you starting off, get this issue. It's essential to anyone collecting The Goon.

Long live The Goon!
