Imagine you are new in town and it's a nice night. As you stroll you see a neon light blinking "Eat at Joe's". You walk down the steps of the brownstone and its awning and as you enter its the Roaring 20's! People sip brandy from coffee cups and on a little stage a songbird warbles Stormy Weather, Body and Soul, like she has lived it. The terrific little jazz band combo it firing on all eight cylinders-but its now on cd with high fidelity. Buy anything you can by Jimm Cullum's Jazzers and buy the Tribute to Turk Murphy vhs tape to see them live! Then run, not walk, to buy anything ya can by Vince Giordano's NightHawks, and British Pasadena Roof Orchestra. And make sure to eat at joe's!
