This book is really cool if your into human transformation. i.e. when Nicole and Tyler start turning into chickens its expained with detail. Like when the book explains how Nicole's teeth are beggining to sink into her gums, her body is beggining to grow more and more feathers, her lips that turned into a beak are beggining to stick out in front of her chin, her posture...

Like when the book explains how Nicole's teeth are beggining to sink into her gums, her body is beggining to grow more and more feathers, her lips that turned into a beak are beggining to stick out in front of her chin, her posture begins to turn into more like a chicken(she can't walk or run without leaning forward),instead walking she begins to waddle, she can't say more 3 words without clucking , her legs are turning chicken like ,Nicole has an overwhelming urge to eat chicken feed, her legs have begun to stiffen up which makes her waddle, and Nicole's chest begins to fill in.Great book!

I like the part when crystal starts turning into a chicken during her basketball game, and she runs home and by the time she gets home she sees her face had become more narrow and her lips had changed completely into a beak and her body was covered in feathers. COOL!

this book is a great book, and it is highly recommended! i know because i'm a 10 year old. this book is not scary, but it's cool, funny, exciting and all that other stuff. i have to admit it, but i have read all of R.L. Stines books and none of them are scary. most of them are cool, exciting, and descriptive. i wouldn't call it scary but i would call it something else

Crystal, and Cole should have never bumped into Vanessa and spilled her groceries. Now they are growing feathers and acting like chickens. Will they ever get back to there own bodies.

I love the part in this book where Vennasa's cat grabs Crystal and stuffs her into its mouth! I also like it when Vennasa's cat bounces Crystal around on its tongue!

5.0 out of 5 stars You Will Have a Clucking Good Time!, June 4, 2003

This is the book that isn't scary, but fun to read. This is actually not my favorite Goosebumps book, but it is VERY close.

krystal and Cole one day accidently bumped the weird woman in Goshen Falls and what they don't know is that she has magical powers. And then when they didn't apoligize, she turned them into chickens!

I don't have this book, but I did read it. So trust me and go buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best of R.L. Stine!, June 5, 2001
By

I thought the fifty-third book in R.L.Stine's Goosebumps series was great! It was called "Chicken Chicken". Unlike his other books, though, this was a little more funny than scary/serious, yet like most of Stine's books, it contains a great twist ending. I've read it about three times and liked/understood it better each time I read it. It takes place in a small farm town, called Goahen Falls. At the edge of town, there lives a lady, who was thought to be a witch, and most people believe that, except a girl named Crystal. But one day, she and her mischievous brother, Cole accidentaly make her spill her groceries. Then the lady, named Vannesa, cast a spell on them, which made them gradually transform into two clucking chickens. If I wrote any more it would ruin the story so you will have to buy it to find out what happens.
