Amy Kramer wants a new dummy cause her old dummy Dennis is beat up and his head falls off!!! One day her father brings home a new dummy he bought from a pawnshop named Slappy. After reading words off a slip of paper is when all the trouble starts. It slaps her dad, winks at her, makes rude remarks about her parents. The birthday party is trashed, Sara's room is destroyed. Until one night when Slappy needs to talk to Amy about something. He says shes his slave. Later on Dennis comes in. I'm on my knees! read this book! it's great! Slappy rules!

Amy's ventriloquist dummy Dennis is literally losing his head. Her father gets a used dummy from a pawn shop, which she's going to use to practice her routine. But soon things start happening and Amy start to realise something is not right about this doll.

The story was way too similar to Night of the living dummy 1 and even the ending, though more benign, was a rip-off from the first book.

My favorite book is Night of the Living Dummy 2 by R.L. Stine. He also writes the awesome books of the Goosebumps series, which as you know are mysteries and fiction. I like the writer's style because he writes scary stories that are sometimes funny. The main characters are cool, too, like Slappy, Amy Kramer, and their mom and dad. Their family is doing sharing night and Amy does a ventriloquist act and her dummy's head falls off and her brother starts laughing like an idiot. If you want to find out what happens to Slappy then read the book and find out. I recommend this book to people who like mysteries that give you twists and turns and scare people. I also like this book because Slappy never stops trying to make people his slave.

wonderful books!!!! my daughters have grown up reading these and they have become a night ritual of reading the scary stories to each other! =) For a good thrill with good writing.. buy all the GOOSEBUMPS books you can! NIGHT OF THE LIVING DUMMY is my youngests' favorite so I bought the set, including an actual SLAPPY doll! =)

The book I am reviewing is Night of the Living Dummy2. I think this book deserves a five star rating because the details were very scary and creepy. It's terrific because it has dummies and scary freaky things. This book is mostly about a possessed dummy, Slappy. The dummy insults Amy's parents. Slappy hits Amy's dad in the back of the head. This story does get solved. How? I'd recommend this book to anybody who likes scary stories. Other books by this author include Go Eat Worms and Another Day at Horror Land.

If you liked the first Night of the living dummy, you'll like this sequal to it. This wasn't as scary as the first Night of the living dummy, but Sh** it was creepey. This time Slappy's going after 12 year old girl Amy who is also intrested in ventriloquium herself. And he wants her to be his slave! Just like Mr. Wood. This book also has things toatally oh how should I put this oh yeah descusting. It seems that Slappy was mad the last time when the got rid of him, but his time he's going to stay in the house until Amy is serveing him. But Amy dosen't want to be the girl who listens to a puppet. So Slappy's paln is to scare Amy until she serves him and he becomes the best Ventriloquist dummy ever. YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!!! Amy Kramer has a dummy but its head keeps falling off! When her Dad gets a new dummy, bad things start happening. First, he says bad things at family sharing night. Then, splotches of paint are on her sister's floor. Then the word "Amy" is on her sister's walls. Then Amy realizes that Slappy is alive! You'll have to read the book to find out more. Anyway, I think the book was pretty scary! You should read it!

Goose bumps night of the living dummy 2 is a realy scary book it even scared me.Because i could not even walk down my hall way for a week, and i think that if you read it you would be scard to.also i want to tell you one more thing IT SCARD THE PANTS OFF ME!

If you like scary story's you came to the right place. This story is about a girl named Amy Kramer that wants a new dummy because her old dummy head falls. So her dad gets her a new ugly horrible scary dummy head. Amy likes to play practical jokes with Slappy but Slappy hates it. I hated it when Slappy got a guitar and tried to hit Amy with it but she screamed. Her parents came but they thought Amy was playing a joke on them. So Slappy said I'll get my revenge on you . When Amy threw Slappy out the window she woke up and saw him on the table. My opinion is that this leaves you hanging and you'll be surprised at the end. Also in every Goosebumps book there's a small chapter at the end telling about a different book.

"NIGHT OF THE LIVING DUMMY"is about a girl named Amy.She gets a new dummy because her other one his head always falls of so she gets a new one.But that dummy is evil and is also alife.If you like supriseing books this you're book.What you do not like suprising books go get an other book. The dummy talkes by it self and walked alone.The end.
