Braise bites of juicy rabbit in a red wine reduction sauce in this covered 4-quart sauté pan. Fiery personality and renowned chef Gordon Ramsay designed the sauté pan as part of his new cookware line in collaboration with Royal Doulton. Like the Scottish-born chef, the pan excels on a hot stove while still resisting dents and corrosion over years of hard use.

The sauté pan features a three-layer construction. For a durable, yet attractive veneer, the pan's exterior is crafted in brushed 18/10 stainless steel. Beneath the exterior, a heavy-gauge aluminum core enables accelerated heat conduction and distribution for searing or frying. An 18/10 stainless-steel interior, the final layer, provides a nonporous cooking surface that cleans easily. The chef transports the pan to and fro with a hollow, extra-long handle with a convenient hanging hole installed in the tip. For heavier dishes or pouring, the pan additionally proffers a loop-style helper handle. Both handles are crafted in stainless steel and double-riveted to the pan. A fitted stainless-steel lid, with a top-mounted loop handle, helps expedite the cooking process and locks in flavor. Dishwasher-safe, the pan also accommodates oven use, safely sustaining temperatures up to 500 degrees F. For neat storage, the sauté pan stacks together with other Ramsay cookware pieces and comes in a protective polishing bag. A limited lifetime warranty covers this item. Not having any experience with this brand I was a bit hesitant to order. The 8 lb. shipping weight decided me and I am glad. This is a great saute pan, very heavy, extremely well made. Worth every penny.
