I've only tried this brand after searching far and wide for reviews and ingredients for appetite control. Hoodia actually works, but it's not something that you notice right away. After reading the directions that is stated quite plainly. It took about 3 days of taking 2caps in the afternoon and 2 more in the evening (I'm a late night muncher) when I realized I wasn't going to the fridge or running to the store for a snack. But let me make this clear in order to get the best benefits possible from this product be consistent with use. I kinda dropped off because I had to reorder and by the time my lazy butt got around to getting more I was already back to my munching. I ordered two bottles this time. Hoodia helped me lose weight by keeping my mind off of food so I could concentrate on fitness and eating properly.

I just began taking this so can't comment yet on how much wieght this will make you lose. I will say that as an appetite suppressant, I have found it to be effective, and pretty much from the first day. I was a big fan of the old ephedra products such as the original Metabolife 356 and Herbal PhenFen. I have lost as much as 50-60 pounds taking those in the past after my pregnancies, and have found nothing to rival them. This is the most effective thing I have found as an appetite suppressant since those went off the market. I know it is supposed to work for some and not others, but one suggestion I have if you are seeing no effect is to take this in relatively high amounts to get any effect out of it. I am taking 6 a day, two pills each, basically about 1/2 to 1 hour before all 3 meals. Another Amazon reviewer mentioned this and I am glad I saw it. My big downfall for snacking is actually in the evening when I am up late working or watching TV and everyone in the house is in bed. I am hoping If I take it late enough it will sustain me through then. Not only does it help control hunger, although I am occasionally still pretty hungry, it just makes you pretty uninterested in food, and just need to eat some to keep from starving. I am hoping as my stomach shrinks a bit, this hunger will also be less. If anyone has tried the Dex L10 that is a combo Hoodia with a Fat burner I am anxious to see how that works, as I think that probably speeds up the weight loss as opposed to just an appetite suppressant. Again haven't found anything close to working as well as the old pre-ban Ephedra products, but like the Hoodia so far.

this is willpower in a bottle! i have always been the type of person who doesn't necessarily need to be hungry to eat. if it was there, i was eating it. i work in an office, and there are ALWAYS treats around for a birthday or holiday. i take two pills before breakfast, and they last all day. i can sit in plain veiw of those treats and am not only not hungry, but not tempted to eat them. i also feel like i have more energy, and having the power to say no to food gives me confidence.

i gave 4 instead of 5 because i haven't been on this long enough to see how it effects weight loss. but i am confident that decreased caloric intake coupled with exercise will give results.

Do not fall for the "HYPE" of the Hoodia craze! Any product that does not have "Hoodia Gordoni ROOT" is useless! Most products say things like "Ariel/Arial", "whole plant less root", "Hoodia Gordoni (less root)", or just "Hoodia". Do not buy those products!!!! The ONLY appetite suppressing part of the plant is the root! I have been looking for a product that uses the root, and cannot find one. If you do come across one, please let me know as I DO believe Hoodia gordoni works... if the root is the ingredient!

I had very high hopes for this product after reading the other reviews. However, it did not work at all for me. I began taking one capsule and after no results, increased to two, then three. Nothing. I have not found anything that works like Metabolife 356 with Ephedra did, and was hoping this was the answer. Why is it they can leave cigarettes on the market, but not a diet pill that had such great results for so many people? Just put a warning on the lable and let the public decide!

This is a completely uneffective product! This product is all story and no results! It's a good thing it has no side-effects because it also has no effect! Save your money for something equally uneffective,but at least more enjoyable!

something that works! Although it doesn't necessarily KILL your appetite like a lot of reports say, it certainly takes the edge off and allows you to make good choices. I've been taking it for only 3 days and find I can avoid the "bad" and go for the "good". Combine this with exercise and sound nutrition and you'll be able to stay on track. Yay!!

After taking a medication to help me conceive I gained weight like crazy. The cravings were far worse than any of my previous pregnancy cravings themselves. Feeling unhealthy about gaining the weight, I decided to diet before trying again. This product actually cut the cravings IMMEDIATELY from the get go.
I had tailored a stict diet plan that I was sure I wouldn't be able to follow (along with a fitness plan). I feared my late night trip to the fridge would KILL my diet.

Don't be afraid to order this product ...it works perfectly. One thing I must mention though....you must be sure to remember to eat. This product works so effectively that it will cause you to skip a whole day of eating. At the very least grab some healthy snacks and carry them around with you. I've taken this product several times over the last few years and if you take it at the proper dosage and at least an hour before a meal...it will begin to take effect. It may take a week to really kick in so you should buy two bottles but I assure you if you stick to it ; don't give up after just a few days...it will work. These other people who have said it doesn't work are quite simply...not using it properly. Also, this is one of the only brands of Hoodia that is actually certified.
Hoodia is actually endangered so don't believe that all hoodia products actually contain hoodia.

Pulleaze read the reviews on this product BEFORE you buy it. I'm usually a stickler about reviewing items before I buy them, but this ONE time, I was in a hurry, read the label - which SEEMED pretty positive (But what else are they gonna do? Degrade their product right on the box? Duh!!), and I bought it from a local drug store.

I can't take Dexatrim, or anything like that, as it gives me the jitters and shakes.. I just wanted an appetite suppressant, as I've started a pretty intense workout routine (Barry's Boot Camp - looove it!) and I knew the workout would make me hungry, making it hard to stick to my diet. I pop these things two at a time, three times a day (you're not suppose to take more than 6), and ALL I can ever think about is when I get to eat next. They're worthless!! And I've noticed that I get a little dizzy and have a hard time concentrating when I take them. I read some reviews, and one test revealed that NO HOODIA COULD BE FOUND IN THE PRODUCT

I guess they work for about 30 to 40% of the people that buy them, but I am obviously not in that percentage. Buy with caution. It is more likely that they won't work. It's also highly likely that this product doesn't even contain Hoodia!
