The thin and light-weight fabric is deceiving. It is very effective in stopping wind while let moisture breath out. I wear this over an Underarmor base layer and Ibex merino wood mid-layer (190g) in windy sub-20 temperature and I feel very comfortable. I have a few cheaper jackets that are much thicker but less effective and comfortable.

This is my jacket to use when training when the weather is 40 or below. Jacket works great. At times I sweat while it is very cold outside. Great product and great quality, I am very impressed. Thank you Gore Bike Wear.
