I have to admit, I spent a little bit too much on these pants. Don't get me wrong, they're great, but I think you could get away with something half the price. However, these paints are incredibly light weight and have great features. They fit loosely but feature two Velcro tightening straps on each leg that tighten the pants around your calves making them incredibly universal in regards to size. Speaking of, I was worried these weren't going to fit as I usually wear size 32x34. I ordered a Medium and they're definitely longer than indicated on the sizing chart and actualy fit perfectly. They also feature a large mesh pocket in the back which I've found is great for storing my gloves and face mask. I also found these pants to be highly versatile for many different types of weather. They're obviously completely waterproof, but so light weight and breathable you can simply wear them over your bike shorts so as to not over heat and stay dry in the rain. And of course you could also comfortably wear them over warmer pants if the weather turns cold. To sum it all up, I would recommend this product for all of these reasons only if you're willing to drop the dough. In my opinion the price is worth it for the quality of the product, but you can certainly find cheaper quality substitutes.

These pants are great for cycling in the rain. Gore-tex Pac lite is truly great stuff. It packs well and is nothing but a waterproof shell. This would be a 5-star review except for the lack of a zipper fly, pockets and belt loops. The elastic waste band and draw string work fine though. The multi-point velcro and zippered cuffs are incredible and the reinforced crotch seems well designed. These pants are cheaper then paclite jackets and a bargain at any price if you need lightweight waterproof pants.
