Customer Reviews

One of the best pencil style tire pressure gauges I've owned.
TJBJ
This gauge only goes up to 50 PSI which is not documented anywhere.

I recommend that everyone has one for each car purely for safety.

Works as expected! Can't really mess up a tire gauge right?--Surprisingly, I found this to be untrue. While airing my tires I found that my cheap 50 cent gauge was giving me incorrect readings. Soon as I switched to the Gorilla gauge, I was getting correct readings [confirmed by other gauges]. So you can't go wrong here!

It doesn't get more simple than this tire pressure gauge but it does its job and does it well. The pressure reading is accurate, feels solid in the hand and has proven to be reliable and consistent with the readings.

This Gorilla Automotive TG1 Pencil Style Tire Pressure Gauge is well built and made to last. The air bleed pin, on the top back of the gauge, is nice and long making the task of letting air out of a tire easy and quick! The numbers, on the stick, are not to hard to read so you can see the pressure level even at night.

UPDATE 6/13/2013: Almost two years later and it is still just as accurate as the first day I used it. This isn't any ordinary use as it gets used quite often on a lot of farm equipment.

All I can say it does what it is supposed to do. It is accurate as I tested it with 2 other tire testers (i.e. Truck/Semi Tire Tester and Digital Tester) and all 3 were within 1 PSI of each other, which is superb.

Good tester, feels durable. Worth every penny.

Simple to use and small enough to be carried in your car. It doesn't feel like it's cheap. Good item for the price

The top broke off of it after only a few times. Pretty disappointed that it came off so easily. Glued it back on but now im not sure I can trust the reading. Although I do like the body of the gauge which seems to be metal opposed to the plastic ones I normally see.

This is a good product, that feels solid and seems to be accurate. My only minor complaint is that it only goes to 50 PSI, so it won't work well for my spare tire which is supposed to be run at 60 PSI.

The angle of the nozzle makes it hard to fit the valves on some of my tires because the rod knocks against my hub cap. I'm now looking for one that has a slightly different head configuration.
