Gorillapod + camcorder Has anyone tried a small camcorder (Canon HV20) on a Gorillapod? Did you put a video head on it or not? I'm assuming that you would need the SLR version?

I've used the Canon Elura 100 with the SLR (not the Zoom), without adding additional hardware. Worked fine. I also straightened out the legs, used one as a forward handle, and used the other two legs to steady the camera against my chest or shoulder when I was handholding the camera. Made for a nice impromptu steadicam effect while traipsing all over the wilds of the central Philippines.
