If you wish to know what Jesus might have really said and taught while on earth ...this IS the definitive book to read. You want to know if Jesus is God? Is there really a Trinity ? What is the Soul? What is God? What happens to people when they die? Do people go to Heaven and/or Hell? What is redemption and/or salvation? The foundation for the Gospel of God's Love are a plethora of messages received by James Padgett from the years 1914 to 1923 via automatic writing.....and which, by the way, surprised him almost as much as they will delight you and inform your soul. A must read for both the serious scholar and the Christ curious.

In "The Gospel of God's Love," Jesus revisits his mission on earth, and describes the relationship of the human soul to the Soul of God as one of love and mercy. His intimate understanding of God's Will clearly points to how we, too, can become the Christ through receiving the Divine Love - the special love God has for all of humankind. Jesus clarifies what he meant when he asked his disciples to "love one another as I have loved you."

These messages restore my hope and inspire my faith that together, and with God's Divine Love and help, we might finally bring into the world a peace that passes understanding.

Even though I have been acquainted with these writings for a few decades, this latest edit inspires me to read them again. These messages from high Celestial spirits explain that there have been interpolations in the Bible and traditional or orthodox religions. Over the centuries of copying and recopying, the original teachings have become overshadowed by what the copyist thought was correct or by how they understood it to be.

Many sincere seekers of truth become confused or disillusioned and choose to drop out, or fall away, from their family's religions. I was very interested and captivated by this book. It really opens your mind and makes you think. Also the messages in it are very beautiful and heart warming. God and the afterlife described are so loving and ideal. I sincerely hope this is exactly what the spirit world is like. I love it. I truly recommend you read it and decide for yourself.
