NOT SO SILLY
In this day,and age it is quite easy to not understand which format an item is in. Calling someone silly is mean. Any technical,scientific person knows the difficulty today.

The description of the contents of this DVD sound great. However, I cannot figure out how to play guitar lessons on my Windows XP PC. The description of the contents of this DVD sound great. However, I cannot figure out how to play guitar lessons on my Windows XP PC. I ran the installer that comes with the DVD, and a "DVD@cess" service is installed, but when I try to double-click on the installed media file, I get the message: "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer." I'm not sure what to do. On my current PC I have no problem playing DVD's. The contents of the DVD are probably great, however, the people at Musicians-workshop.Com should take a look at how user-friendly the eMedia people put their training DVDs together. It would be much better in my opinion to install their software the way most software is installed--on the Start menu and to supply any missing drivers. |
