Gene Watson is one of the truly great country honky tonk type singers. He can sing great gospel music or pure beer drinking honky tonk. Every song on this C D has special meaning not only to Mr. Watson but to me and probably everyone that will listen to the words of the songs.

I love this CD it has some very inspired words and good singing!! My favorite songs are "Shine From the Mountain" and "Before the Hammer Could Ring". Gene Watson has an exceptional voice and the words have very deep meaning.
