Book Description

November 3, 2005
In the third millennium, rival Christian factions pressure scientists to return to the Biblical era to verify or discount the veracity of the Gospels. The adventure takes unexpected turns. In addition to finding significant variations to the four Gospel accounts, they clash with the Roman authority and the religious hierarchy of the Jews, and become involved with the natives of the target era.

Restrained by moral and ethical considerations which prevent them from using lethal force, the two action figures, Rajulk and Lila, engage and outwit the Romans using only stunners and hand to hand self defense techniques. Rajulk finds romance with a native woman and bonds with a Roman soldier. Lovencroft Smithe, finds a replacement for a lost son.

The reader will encounter Barabbas whose relationship to Jesus is more involved than depicted in the Gospels, and one of the lesser disciples who had a much greater role in the story of Jesus. Returning briefly to the third millennium, the time travelers journey once again through time back to Biblical Judea to resolve once and for all the issues remaining from the first mission concerning the Gospels. Only then do they discover the intrusion by inhabitants of another timeline.
