Bought this so I could mount my Zoom H2/H4n to the top of my 5DMKII -- unfortunately it's very unstable and loose in the shoe-mount. Ended up buying a more expensive version with adjustable tightening and it worked like a charm. This is a low quality option that I would not choose again.

Not worth the $12 by any means. Cheap plastic and loose fit. Save yourself the hassle and buy a quality one.

This piece does NOT fit snugly in the shoe-mount. If you don't want your equipment falling apart when you lean forward don't buy this!

Well, I know it's not designed for this, but I bought it to mount my Zoom H4N to my Canon 7d. I didn't work so hot. But after some creative engineering, I got it stay put.
