1940s Hollywood Intrigue,
By Donna Norris (Ashfield (NSW)) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Gossip Column: A Hollywood Novel (Paperback)
As well as being highly entertaining, this novel is quite poignant in parts. The reader feels for the stars as they are relentlessly hunted by the columnists for their gossip value. The story has plenty of intriguing twists and turns and although it is fictional it gives some interesting insights into the power the columnists wielded. A fascinating story set in Hollywood's fantastic golden era.
