I loved this box set. I started reading these after I watched the show. But, I only got to read the first two and the last two books because everywhere I went never had them. If you like the show you'll love the books. Sure it isn't as dramatic as the show, but they are fun reads. Now I can say that I've read and own the entire series. I love the covers. Except some of the darker ones look a little pixelated (sp?) But this is a beautiful box set for a great price. (As opposed to buying each set individually.)The box arrived in great condition. I love the little posters on each cover. Plus all of these books are really fast reads. I read the whole series in about two weeks. I didn't find one book I didn't like.

I really love the Gossip Girl series on TV so I decided to buy the books to see how cool they are and I'm so not disappointed! This collector's box absolutely rocks, it's a real piece of collection you got to own if you like the saga. 12 books including an incredible boxset and 12 exclusive posters from the TV show really worth the small price. And the box came in perfect condition too! I highly recommend this purchase.

I personally don't know anything about this, but my granddaughter was thrilled! She's not an avid reader, but is devouring these books.

I started this series about 2 weeks ago and I'm on book #4. These books make you want to pick them up and read them all day (and night)! If you love the TV show, you will love the books. They are very different than the TV show, but it's almost like a continuation because all the characters still hate someone one week and then love them the next week. The set was received in perfect condition too. I learned that the last book is not included: Gossip Girl: I Will Always Love You: A Gossip Girl novel, so I ordered it to complete my collection :)

You get what you pay for, and I absolutely love this book set!! Perfect to sit on a book shelf in the living room or in your bedroom. Each book cover is also a poster to hang up on your wall. I love the Gossip Girl series and this was exactly what I was looking for, glad to finally have it!

I loved the Gossip Girl books back when I was in high school and when I saw they were making it into a TV show, I was so excited! I had to buy this collection with the limited edition covers for my library so I can reread the books again and again! It was worth the price in my opinion.

Well, everyone loves Gossip Girl (though the TV series is said to be better then the books by most - but the books did start it), so I will concentrate on the box set.
It's fantastic value (especially at Amazon's discounted price) as it contains all Gossip Girl books (except the spin-offs and the newest college book - still only in hardcover) and all of them with the special TV series covers - that can be posters, as they have high quality large scale photos on their back sides. The covers feature Serena, Blair, Chuck, Nate, Dan, Jenny & Vanessa at least once each (with many of them way more then once) in high quality photos of memorable moments from the TV series (appropriate to the book they are one).
So, everyone knows the books and the concept, but I decided to review just the "look" of the product. As it is really a nice & unique item. Few series's get such VIP treatment. Also everything comes in a box. It's cardboard, with photos on most sides and it's the best made and least delicate of all "box set" boxes I've ever seen. You can use it for storage for many years to come.
So, to sum it up: if you don't have the books or just want them in covers with the actors from the CW series, buy the box set - it's the best offer.
