Educational Read!
This is the best and most compassionate discussion I've seen on the state of welfare in the U.S. today. Bonus: it's also a very interesting novel.

Disjointed and silly
My only advice is to read Jimmy Breslin's "Table Manners." It's far better written and makes much more sense.
