WOW! Thank you for this straightforward, informative, yet fun, book! This is the book every girl needs as she enters puberty. It can be such a confusing time, and Lisa and Chris have written a book that puts it all in perspective and lets girls know what they're going through is perfectly normal. I wish I would have had this book for myself many years ago, and that I'd had it to give to my daughter five years ago. Thank you for a very cool and much needed book!

I highly recommend getting this book for your daughters, neices, granddaughters, and any girl you care about who is heading into puberty. The reassurance they'll feel will give them confidence to go into this new phase of life.

I bought this for my niece--she loved it so much that she asked me for another copy. It makes your period tracking fun. Chronicle books always creates inviting books for their readers.

I thought the book would be larger. I didn't check for measurements. The content would be more appealing if the size of the book was more dramatic. A little to "cutsie" for me. My 11 year old thought it was baby-ish.

The minute my daughter and I received "Gotcha Covered" we sat down and looked through the entire kit. "Gotcha Covered" is not only well written with humor and pizazz but so informative in a non clinical way. It was fun for us to read together and to look at the clever calendar and personal pouch for that "new kind of shopping spree". Thank you- we can't wait to see what you come up with next!

This is a wonderful book for helping girls ease into the sometimes stressful world of menstruation. Its attitude of "You can handle whatever happens!" is supportive and reassuring...and it addresses all those practical questions a girl might think are too embarrassing to ask. Answers to specific concerns are easy to find and succinct, with a tone young teenage girls can relate to. My 13 year old daughter whipped through it in one sitting. I wish this book had been around when my older daughters started their periods!

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was well-written, funny and informative. It is a must have for any girl who is "about that age." The packaging is creative and a great gift idea as well.

This book is an essential for not only girls reaching (or in) puberty but their parents as well! It is a refreshingly `real' look at starting your period and the things that can and do happen once you have it. It is written with humor, wisdom, and a casual style. The accessories included are exactly what every girl needs. I wish this book had been available when I was 12. I had to muddle through just about every scenario presented in the book!
