The seller packs their product very well but no amount of packing can help the fact that it was shoddily made in the first place.
Several spots have cracks in the wood that were "repaired" with globs of glue that weren't even properly sanded afterward. There are no pre-drilled holes for screwing the pieces together (something they don't mention in this ad). Additionally, the end grain of the wood was really poorly sanded making it look like a beginning high school shop student put it together. Actually, if I'd taken my origional plans to the local high school, their wood shop students would probably have done a better job, with better materials, and way less shipping costs. |
