This book does a nice job in fleshing out the world of the 1890's. It tells you of the important figures of the era, the important events during the era, and the nuts and bolts on how to use these in your campaign. The only problem is that the outer cover is separate from the book, as were many 2nd Ed. D&D accessories of this pricepoint.
