This now out-of-print release is one of the definitive books on the history of Gothic and Death Rock, not just in the U.K. and U.S but the whole world! Written by Mick Mercer, an author whose credits include two other publications on this exact same subject. In this book he has collected and documented the "Doom 'n Gloom" scene in alphabetical order, leaving no stone unturned! From small but popular history-makers like HIP Magazine to big name headlining bands like the Sisters Of Mercy and then back again to recording the views of plain jane gothsters he probably interviewed as they were walking down the street. A must for any self-respecting deathrocker!
