They do work well, however, I have 3 bulldogs and I think I'd be broke quickly if I invested in the number of bags I would need to take care of all of their waste...I am using the bags but just can't use them that much. Plus the toilet will plug up if I put too much inside the bags. But they work fine for smaller amounts and I let it sit for a while before flushing. It's a great idea, but think this would work for smaller dogs...

Our dog has been using an indoor potty, so these are very convenient to just throw in the toilet as opposed to smellng up a trash can or having to take it to to the dumpster right away. We always followed the directions to let it soak in the toilet for 15-20 minutes before flushing, and these have worked beautifully.

These are certainly degradable -- and quickly! I either have to cut my walk short so I can rush to the trash can or have the bag disintegrate in my hand, allowing the poo to fall out onto the ground. By the time I make it home, the bag is so soft that I'm afraid to take it inside to try and flush it -- I might end up with dog poo in the middle of my floor!

I live in the Northeast and I've been using Gotta Go - Green all year round. Right now, we're in a heatwave and these bags have held up pretty well. My dog is a 55-lb. Vizsla male and he usually poops twice on his walk but not always. I use one bag for each poop and as soon as I get home, I immediately throw the bag/s in the toilet but do not flush. At some point I go back to the bathroom, the bags have broken up, and then I flush. I have zero issues with the bag or the toilet and I don't have smelly poop in my garbage can! Woof!

These are the best flushable dog poop bags that I've tried. I've used Flush Puppies and the bags get brittle when they're out of the packaging and become difficult to invert. The Gotta Go bags are very flexible and an overall better shape for hand protection. They whip right down the toilet - I have a Kohler Cimarron which has a lot of flush power, so I don't let them soak first. The bags do let smell through which I think may be an unavoidable characteristic of all flushable products. I solve this by double-bagging - drop the green bag down inside a plastic newspaper wrapper that has about 2 tablespoons of baking soda in it. Makes it easier to carry too.

These baggies are sooo awesome! You just scoop the poop right up and toss the baggie into the toilet! We have to keep our trash cans in our garage, which we also use for workspace, and there is no poop smell stinking it up! These baggies are perfect for apartment living, small spaces, avoiding the week long smell until trash day, or just plain wanting to be earth friendly :)
Highly recommended for medium and small dogs. My guys only 30 pounds or so, so his doesn't make messes too big for the baggy. Should be okay for bigger dogs, just let it soak in toilet awhile before flushing.

These bags are superior to others I have tried. Although others may come in cute small packs, which equals more waste, these Gotta go green bags are more easily flushed yet hold up well. A true innovation in eco friendly bags.

From my experience the Gotta Go Green bags have held up great in the rain. The bag did soften like shrink wrap however it didn't break and nothing leaked out. I'm on my second order of 50 and have had no problems with the toilets even though I usually flush them right away despite the directions of waiting 2-3 minutes. The fact that they are ecologically friendly is enough said and I would recommend them to anyone that wants to be "green friendly" and do their part.

These bags are a little disappointing. They're a little too biodegradable if your dog poops at the beginning of a walk and you're on a long walk. These bags start to degrade and ooze before you make it home. You'll want to put it inside another baggie, which kind of defeats the purpose. Also there are no twist ties to close the bag and the bags aren't large enough to tie off. The instructions tell you not to allow air to accumulate inside the bag, which is a little difficult. When you place the bag in the toilet bowl, the bag doesn't break down very quickly. I am afraid that over time they'll stop up the plumbing. Newspaper bags are free and a better alternative, though I'm back to stinky poo in the garbage can.

This is THE BEST WAY to pick up after your dog! Easy to use -- but don't wear one on your hand while walking around in the rain! Bag material has no odor, turns easily, keeping dog waste inside, and then gets dropped into the toilet and flushed. Why aren't these sold in every pet supply store? I'm ordering two more packs next week, and that's 50 in a pack. IMPORTANT: has never clogged the 60 year old pipes in my house that clog for too much toilet paper. This is the most environmentally responsible way I found to clean up after my dog..
