New star from the UK,

This review is from: Gotta Tell You (Audio CD)
Samantha Mumba debuted at #2 on the British singles chart with "Gotta Tell You" a couple of weeks ago. For awhile she had the #1 and then "The Real Slim Shady" sold more copies. Anyway Samantha will fit in quite well amongst the crop of teen pop princesses that have overwhelmed the market. I haven't heard anything from her besides "Gotta Tell You," though, so we'll have to see if she makes it in America. But this is a great song.

Wow!!!! I don't even remember where I first heard this song...but it has been stuck in my head ever since! I just had to go out and buy the single. I wasn't too crazy about the second track...I was kind of hoping that there would have been some lyrics on that track...but it was just an instrumental club mix. I am totally in love with the song though. It's awesome!!! I might even think about buying her CD...whenever it comes to the U.S. It's an awesome song...she sorta reminds me of Brandy of Toni Braxton...so if you are fond of them, I don't think it would hurt to give Samantha Mumba a listen!

When I was in Ireland a couple of months ago, I was watching their video music countdown and this song was #1 for weeks. The tune stayed in my head all the time. When I returned to the states I was still humming the tune my friends like the tune I was humming. Now 3 months later it has reached our countdown in Florida. I get a nostalgic feeling when I hear her voice. Great song.

Great song - but here's a better way to get it!,

The song Gotta Tell You is one of over 40 tracks on the British album Now That's What I Call Music 46 (Search for 'Now 46' in Popular Music). Like the US NOW releases, each CD contains the unedited full-length single version of the song. The CD also has very recent tracks by Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, N Sync and many more. If you like this song, and want to hear other big tracks from Europe (Samantha is Irish), this is a great way to do so.

Whatever happened to this Irish talent? She's got an incredible voice and an interesting sound. I wonder what happened to her?! Anyways...the song is incredible and very catchy. I think it sounds awesome. The remix is interesting. You can kind of hear the lyrics in the background, but you kind of have to "strain" your ears. I kind of wish that they'd have put a different remix on here that features Samantha's amazing voice. But they didn't. C'est la vie! Anyways...this is a great song and definitely deserves 5 stars!

This song rocks, as I'm sure many of you know. It's a little overplayed on radio stations, but that does not make it a bad song. It was written really well and Samantha Mumba has an awesome voice. I think it's cool how she does the low "more mature" sound and then just goes into her regular singing voice. It shows exquisite talent and a good range for someone so young. I definitely think that if Samantha has more songs like Gotta Tell You, she'll be a major star.

This song is the my fave of the year! Sam is the best new talent we in the US have seen in awhile, her voice is incredible! AND she co-wrote this! I hope she has major success with her next single "Baby Come On Over" also, which is another of her best.
