Our older girls all have AG dolls. This was the first Gotz doll we purchased for our youngest in an attemp to save some money. I am amazed at the quality of this doll! It's hair is actually plugged into the dolls head, unlike AG dolls which just has a hair piece glued to the head. The Gotz doll can even go in the washing machine!! We all think that "Elizabeth's" face is much cuter than AG too. I sure wish I had looked into this doll company years ago!

My daughter wanted another american girl doll but we got her this instead. She was a little disappointed but got over it quickly and loves the doll. I think the doll is better for the money, her hair seems to be more secure. good buy!
