This review is from: Gouache & Ink on Livestock (Audio CD)
studio manufactured glam rockers who went absolutely nowhere, but it's got a pretty nice snarly Brit kick, particularly the epic, menacing, grubby "Candy Deceit" with it's girl spraying everyone with a machine gun. Opener "Shopaholic" hits an easy target, but I like the effort they put into it. Millions of bands go down the drain -- cripes, this album is ONLY available for a penny -- but it's worth the salvage if you like the Mott, Bowie, Queen, Furs ethos mixed with a post-punk snear or whatever. It's garbage, as I admit, but in my house it has a home.
