What fun!
Quirky, whimsical dolls and puppets are an inspiration to creativity. Shows how to use gourds as the heads for dolls, marionette puppets, wire figures, and even bobble heads. Not only demonstrates gourd preparation but ideas for facial expression and hair.

I expected more
I love making all kinds of things with gourds. I purchased this book rather than others thinking it would have instructions for joint mechanisms. I've read books on making sculptured dolls that had more helpful information than this book. The best thing about the book is the various doll head ideas which are the only part that is made with gourds.
