I use the Orka Steamer literaly EVERY day! I liked it so much, purchased one for my mother and one for my daughter as well. It is so easy to clean and store and unlike glass it's lightweight with NO breakage problem! I use the lid to cover all my other microwaveable dishes! I have one in Raspberry and one in Blue! I am 100% pleased with this product.

I love this product. I use it constantly in my microwave to steam vegetables or to reheat cooked food. It steams perfectly, easy clean-up, great size. I am always looking for new silicone products and this one tops my list. It is perfect for one or two people.

I have had the smaller oblong for 3 years. Once you learn how to use it(1-3 tablespoons of liquid) and everything is perfect.
Crispy broccoli 60'' and 1 tbsp of water or liquid. Watch it, when the lid gets pulled down,you are done.
Great to warm up food(go less time,you can always add more time for different results.)
This is a gr8 product. Yes, good idea to put a plate underneath if the contents are heavy.
Be careful opening, steam is intense. Open away from you. I highly recommend.

Two of the best purchases I have ever made!

We use this 27-ounce or a 20-ounce Orka steam cooker everyday and they are wonderful. They have especially improved the taste and healthiness of our vegetables. Food cooked in these steamers are comparable to what you get at gourmet restaurants. No surprise that we are eating more vegetables. They also do a great job with fish. We just added some teriyaki sauce to salmon and it was delicious. We cook scrumptious eggplant Parmesan in minutes just by adding marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. They Cook everything fast and are easy to use and clean. They wash quickly by hand with soapy water.

Cooking times could be spelled out more clearly. However you get used to judging the time quickly through trial and error.

A great product. We never expected them to be this good or for us to use them so often. My wife and would rate these steamers as two of the best purchases we have ever made!

This product is hardly what I consider a STEAMER. It is a rubber casserole dish and a rubber lid. There is nothing to even suspend the food above the pooled liquid.
