the refils for the cupcake maker are very easy to use, but the cupcake maker itself, is not what was expected, if you dont get the frosting just so, all it does is make a huge, drippy mess. the girls did just 2 of the cupcake refils and lost interest, because the frosting wasnt working like they saw it on tv, with doing the fun designs and swirls. we got the cupcake maker for christmas and it was used the 1st day and then it has sat in the corner.
