4.0 out of 5 stars My Daughter Loved It
This was one of the toys that was on my daughter's Christmas list. She was so excited to open it. She and I enjoyed making and decorating the cupcakes.

2.0 out of 5 stars mom of 2 sweety pies
the refils for the cupcake maker are very easy to use, but the cupcake maker itself, is not what was expected, if you dont get the frosting just so, all it does is make a huge, drippy mess. the girls did just 2 of the cupcake refils and lost interest, because the frosting wasnt working like they saw it on tv, with doing the fun designs and swirls. we got the cupcake maker...

ok, so maybe the target market for these cupcakes isn't some 32 year old dude who thought it'd be fun to have an easy bake oven in the office.

and maybe he couldn't find one, but this girl gourmet stuff came up when he searched amazon. he might have the excess funds to purchase this along with the cupcake 'maker' (which doesn't make cupcakes, it decorates.. IT'S A CUPCAKE DECORATOR!). he might have returned the 'maker' but kept the cupcakes and microwaved them because he's at least going to TRY.

wait, did i just say MICROWAVE the CUPCAKES? ugh.

i looked all over the package for a label stating that these were made in a factory that shared equipment with dog food. because that's what it smelled like when i cooked 'em.

and the taste? thankfully it just had a faint smell & taste of dogfood when i had some, though it spent so little time in my mouth before it found itself in the garbage can.

in summary : buy a cupcake tin, some betty crocker cupcake stuff & make them the old fashioned way.

and if you're buying this for your kid then you're automatically enrolling yourself in to the running for the "worst parent of the year" award. SPEND TIME WITH YOUR KID! TEACH THEM PATIENCE! MAKE CUPCAKES *WITH THEM*!
