I had bought these before. I understood that they had glycerin in them and that they were made in china, but we used them occasionally and I thought they'd be OK with the limited ingredients. This company has changed the ingredients and cleverly does not show that on the amazon site. In fact they list only duck breasts as the ingredients on the Amazon site. On the back of the package, it states that they are now adding soy protein isolate. I don't want my dog to have soy and especially not any protein isolate. The protein should come from the duck meat. With the melamine scare involving doctored protein from China, the soy protein isolate is a perfect place to further pad the ingredients. Heaven only knows what is in them. I think it is disingenuous of the company to list only the duck breast ingredient, when they know there are more questionable ingredients. Had I known these were the current ingredients, I would not have purchased this product.
I cannot bring myself to give these to my dogs and certainly will not be foisting them on unsuspecting people who trust me to give to their pets. I like the company and have ordered from them in the past, but this is a big black eye for them. I would strongly advise against purchasing this item. You will feel very badly if the product makes your dog sick.

Actual dried duck filets (minimum crude protein 68%, min. fat 2%, moisture 18%). don't know how they do it at this price, but of course it is a product of China. It states on the 2 lb bag that 9 lbs of duck meat were used which would be typical for any jerky. Because it is solid meat (obvious to the eye and how it breaks apart) there should be No issue with melamine. Each piece is around 5-6 inches long, 1/2 to 3/4 " wide, and about an 1/8" thick with natural variance in size expected with dried solid meat and little to no smell. The bag is resealable. The treats have a typical dried beef jerky texture so they are consumed fairly quickly, at least by our dogs (60 lbs and 75 lbs) But most important, our dogs absolutely love them. Your dogs will thank you. My folks in a different state have been able to get these at CostCo at a very good price

VERY disappointed these are made in China. That info should be included in ad. Dogs love them, but I don't trust the manufacturing process. Wish I could return the product. Bag says to wash hands with soap and water after handling - and I'm supposed to feed this to my dogs?
