Book Description

There are few treats more satisfying than a frozen popsicle on a sunny day. But why eat the boring same-old pops from the grocery store? They tend to be filled with sugar, corn syrup, and chemicals.
Making your own ice pops is quick and easy and it opens the doors to a world of great flavors. When making pops yourself, you can be sure to only include healthy ingredients or adjust recipes to include your kids’ favorite foods or to eliminate an ingredient your kids just won’t eat.
Although they are a dessert item, by creating pops make from fresh fruits, fruit juices, yogurts and natural sweeteners like honey, you can indulge in delicious treats that are still very healthy!
Ice Pops can be decadent and heavy, but many of the recipes included here are light and healthy. Starting with juices or teas, many of these delicious pops are low calorie and low fat or even no fat! (Don’t worry, we’ve included plenty of naughty Pops as well.)
This book is full of recipes and ideas for delicious, gourmet ice pops, divided into 3 sections -- kids favorites, gourmet flavors, and adults only (recipes with alcoholic ingredients). Skim through the Table of Contents and you’re sure to find your new favorite!
Gourmet Ice Pops includes more than 50 delicious recipes with tips and notes to help you create your own variations! Includes color photos and illustrations to make the book more entertaining plus a hyperlinked table of contents for ease of use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy and Awesome April 29, 2012

I have made several of these recipies now and we love them. The kids had fun making them. I like the fact that the ones we made didn't stain the clothes. I made me some adult ones and loved it.

5.0 out of 5 stars So different . . . and easy! April 27, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Love this book - recipes are different than ones I've seen in the past and they are all so easy! I like how the book is set up in different categories of pops and of course, can't wait to try the "adult" pops as well. I would have never thought of some of the combinations and can't wait to try these for my next cook out . . . or maybe just an after-work treat!

4.0 out of 5 stars When I'm wrong, I'm wrong, new review May 12, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Length: 3:10 Mins
I initially gave this book one star because of the horrible formatting and took pictures to prove it. Another reviewer took pictures to show the titles were indeed in bold and there were line breaks in the recipes.. hmmm....

I went back to my cloud and looked again, but same ugly unusable formatting (see video). I always read cookbooks in my cloud, and have never had an issue, but I really do try to be fair when reviewing products, so I down loaded Gourmet Ice pops on the kindle. As you can see if you watch the video, the formatting in the kindle is totally different from the cloud reader!

While the interactive table of contents still only goes to chapters and not individual recipes, the recipes themselves look fine, with Bold Titles and line spacing.

I've learned a lesson today, from now I'll check the cloud reader and the kindle e-reader first. I also apologize the author, Ann Chambers, as the issue is obviously some sort of Amazon cloud glitch and not her formatting of the book.

I have retracted my one star, I still am taking a star off for lack of links to individual recipes, but now that the formatting is resolved the recipes themselves look fine and there are several I am looking forward to trying in my brand new Tovolo Groovy Ice Pop Molds, Set of 6, Yellow
