When even the "gourmet" food stores in our area no longer stock them, you can count on Amazon to come through with a source. These are of excellent quality; and you don't need to worry about them drying out.

I cannot imagine a brown sauce accompanying chicken, beef or lamb without the addition of green peppercorns from Madagascar, packed in brine. They always bring to mind a simple yet elegant meal in a small restaurant in the French countryside.

Just as I had hoped! These are not easy to find in grocery store except in metropolitan areas. A little pricy but well worth it, I think. Excellent on pot roast. Too bad shipping is so high- not sure I will re-order any time soon. Service was very good form this vendor, tho.
