Ehrenberg has assembled an array of writers to describe and prescribe what they believe to be the saving grace of higher education.I found the book most helpful doing research on shared faculty governance and the influence of the for-profit sector of academia. However, it would also benefit those working on projects related to senior and mid-level academic administration, including collective bargaining. Supporting data was sufficient but slightly outdated in some of the chapters. |
