With 25 percent of our economy represented by government spending, the opportunity is for government to lead the private sector by example, through increased efficiency in energy, healthcare, and IT spending, while increasing programmatic performance.

The book illustrates the direct economic impact and provides a strong basis for additional opportunities for indirect economic impact for the policy, management, and programmatic recommendations.

I hope that Federal leaders and their advisors also read it.
