Excellent reading and perhaps the best book of this type, exposing the excessive spending in our Government and what needs to be done to get this country on the right course. Fred Thompson should be our next president!

The prose in this book is at times hard to get through, but it is well worth the effort.
Fred hits the target, highlighting how a myriad of federal government agencies are missing the targets of accountability and responsibility. If our primary agencies cannot pass a simple audit, how can we expect them to be good stewards and managers of our national resources? What's missing? A president and a congress with the honesty, integrity, and will to straighten out the mess and an electorate to give them a mandate.
