This review is from: Governor's Land: Archaeology of Early Seventeenth-Century Virginia Settlements (Paperback)
"Governor's Land: Archaeology of Early 17th Century Virginia Settlements", by Alain Charles Outlaw, is one of the best books on the Virginia land records prior to 1625. It explains beautifully how the land in Jamestown was eventually granted to the settlers. Prior to the Muster of 1625 any land use is difficult to determine. This is an excellent book.
