We puchased a set of these in Nantucket and had to have more when we returned home. With tile floors and a pool area, it is nice to have "glasses" that won't break. I would have given them 5 stars, but you have to hand wash. If you put them in the dishwasher they get a bit of a haze. If you wash them on a heated dry setting, they warp, so please just hand wash.

These glasses are not hard plastic, if that is what you are looking for. They have more flex and that is what makes them spectacular! Not to mention the thumb placement space. I love these glasses for outdoor and indoor use-really wonderful!

These high quality plastic wine glasses are substantial and ecological too! They're a great size, hold a "good" size glass of wine, wash up nicely, and have a nice thumb notch to make sweaty or sunscreen drenched hands grasp them easily. Wish they weren't quite so pricey but they are worth the money.

These glasses are the best! Comfortable to hold, nice to drink out of. Just don't put them in the dishwasher!

These glasses are incredible. They feel great in the hand (especially with the thumb indentation for safety from dropping them), they're light, they flex and they allow the taste and nose of the wine to come through like crystal. They are spectacular -- we even pack them into our backpacks when hiking with a delightful lunch with wine! Also excellent for indoor use when you have accident-prone friends like mine.

These glasses are thin, but feel more like crystal than most acrylic glasses. The thin lip is nice, as is thumb grip. Washing by hand is minor annoyance - I wash all my crystal by hand too.

First time we picked some of these up it was at a wine/cheese shop in Napa. We loved them so much, we cleaned them and brought them home with us. I then went on Govino's website and bought another 12. Our neighbors all love them. Lots of wine drinkers, and MANY broken glasses. So you have to handwash, so what? They won't break, they look cool, and they are perfect for outdoor or indoor entertaining. Only bring out the good stuff for dinners. If everyone is just sitting around drinking, use these!

There are a lot of negative reviews on these glasses, but they are really fun for the beach or any kind of outdoor gathering. Yes they are plastic, but the quality is good and they are priced accordingly. Acrylic wine glasses can run upwards of $5 a piece and in my experience have the stems break pretty easily. I like these glasses because they are super light and I like the idea that they are made from recycled material.

Word to the wise: hand wash, I melted a couple in my dishwasher...

I love these cups! I got one at a free wine tasting at Sunfest and have been using it for months. It's great for outside parties- especially when you're looking for something to use on a patio. I've washed it several times and it's like new. I like the flex of the cup and the thumbhold. If you're looking for something disposable, go to Wal-Mart. If you're looking for something to use over and over and over again, order these. I think they're great!

After searching high and low for a reasonably priced stylish wine glass to use on my boat, I found these. They're perfect. They are relatively stable and the notch for your thumb is great for wet or sunscreen-slippery hands. They are inexpensive enough that I won't feel bad throwing them away when they get scuffed up.
