I have worked in a half dozen plating factories and these are the standard way to time electroplating baths. Unfortunately, they consistently last about 4 months and then have to be thrown out. Great for GraLab - not great for you. In addition, there is no end of cycle alert: yes, there is an outlet where you can plug in your own alert, but that should be included at this price!
Recently I have seen some waterproof digital timers that have come on the market that do everything this does and more. I recommend these instead.

We have a lot of noise in our bakery, so I am pleased that this timer is very audible. I have had GraLab before and am very pleased with the quality of their products. I will need to invest in the timer that goes for 60 minutes as opposed to this one, that only times up to 15 minutes.

We have been using the Gra Lab timers for about 30 years and other than they are made out of plastic instead of metal now, they are very good industrial type timers.

It's okay. The older models that were constucted of metal were better. Not as tough as one would like to see for industrial use.
