GRABER OLIVES ARE, WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE BEST TASTING, HIGHEST QUALITY OLIVES I HAVE EVER TASTED, AND I'VE TASTED A LOT OF OLIVES! EVERY STORE, NOT JUST GOURMET, SHOULD CARRY THEM, AND MORE PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THEM. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!

These are REAL ripe olives.....not the black-colored ones you see in grocery stores. I first tried these at Graber House in Southern California and fell in love with them. These are the best olives you can buy. Matter of fact, I need to order some more!

The best I've ever tasted,

I thought that I wasn't an "olive person" until I tasted these yummy olives from California. Now, I eat them out of the can all the time. They're also part of my "Flat Belly Diet" which add even more to their value.

MARVELOUS!!!,

This review is from: Graber Olives Size 14 7.5 oz. Can (Misc.)
Graber's Ripe Green Olives are marvelous, and utterly unlike any other type of olives. Although packed in a light brine, they are not salty nor vinegary. Instead, they are mild, buttery and nutty. Really! They are perfect for a snack or light meal with mild complex cheeses, pear slices, etc.
$6.49 is a fair price, but $7.25 for shipping (the price at the time this review is written) more than doubles your cost. Alternatively, you can buy them by the case (as few as 4 cans) directly from the Graber Olive House, but even so, the shipping cost is prohibitive for folks on the East Coast. If that doesn't discourage you, then go all in and buy the larger size 16 olives. Grabers olives are unpitted, and as with all olives are far tastier than pitted olives. Strangely, PITTED ripe green olives are readily available at reasonable prices (even at many ordinary grocery stores), but do not compare to Grabers unpitted olives. You can probably buy 6 cans of pitted ripe green olives for the price of 1 can of Grabers. Santa Barbara Olive Co. California Green Medium Pitted Ripe Olives, 6 Ounce Tins (Pack of 12) Lindsay Olives Green Ripe Medium Pitted, 6-Ounce (Pack of 6) If you are already familiar with ripe green olives but not Grabers--Grabers is simply the Rolls Royce of ripe green olives. PROBLEM The only problem with Graber's olives is "you can't eat just one". If I open a can, I finish it within an hour. Recommendation: After major grocery shopping expeditions, sit down at your computer with your reciept, and check if you can buy any of the non-perishables through Amazon. When you find items (even if more expensive than you just paid), put the item on your Amazon wish list, and add a note to the wish list of the price you just paid. Check your wish list frequently, and when you see an item you need at a bargain price, buy it. Or, at least when you buy something from your wishlist that you'll probably buy regularly, make a note of the price you paid

Graber made an olive-lover of me,

These are the most delicious olives I've ever eaten and unlike any others. Before I discovered them in 2005, I was an active olive-hater. Graber's delicate brine doesn't overwhelm the succulence of their perfect fruit. Once you try these you'll be craving them... fair warning.

Best Olives Ever!!!,

These olives are the best quality olives (they resemble a black olive in taste - a really good black olive). Not to salty like greek or green olives. Pleasent flavor and compliments cheese and crackers or even a deli tray. My friends loved these (big hit).

Best Olive Ever,
This review is from: Graber Olives Size 14 7.5 oz. Can (Misc.)
Recently had these at a holiday party and FINALLY found the person who offered them to find out the name. ALL of my friends raved about them. While they still have pits, they are so buttery the meat slips off the pit quite easily while continuing to feel like butter in your mouth. I generally like olives that have more tooth to them (black olives) but these are really special. I don't know how I would use them in a dish...these were part of a holiday pick-up buffet and were a perfect as a snack and go. I will seek these out and give them to friends as gifts because they are very unique in taste and texture and everyone seemed to like them!
