I will admit that I love to read cozy mysteries and have found many wonderful authors. Julie Hyzy is one that has not disappointed me. The Manor House Mystery series is *very* good and the latest addition---"Grace Among Thieves" is excellent. Grace ends up in the midst of another murder investigation and also once again ends up in deadly peril. The plot is engaging and this is just the kind of book I can't put down where you suspect one person, then another. You question everyone's motivations. It's great. Pick it up and give it a try.

Julie Hyzy absolutely has another hit on her hands. Grace Among Thieves picks up where Grace Interrupted left off. Grace is back with another murder in Marshfield Manor, a film crew wandering around and a thief on the loose. This is a must read for cozy mystery fans.

Ready... Set... Read!

Grace is the curator of Marshfield Manor. There's thievery, murder and relationships in the mystery.

The Marshfield Manor reminds me of the Barnes Foundation are collection when it was located in Merion, PA. Julie Hyzy's writing echoes her amazing research before she writes a book. The book quickly engages you in the first 2 pages as you are inside Grace's head when she is going through different scenarios before responding to Bennett's request to talk.

You start the journey with Grace as she works leave the investigation of thefts to the police only to jump in feet first to find the culprits while trying not to get murdered.

Why did I start this with Ready... Set... Read? I found myself grabbing my Kindle to continue reading the book throughout the day... Grocery Store line... gas station while pumping gas... home when I was supposed to finish working on a project. I read every opportunity that I could because I was riveted. I felt like I was Grace. I loved the town and the people. This is what I like about reading Julie's books - GREAT escapes!

I've been a fan of Julie Hyzy's books all along--both Ollie Paras in the White House and Grace Wheaton at Marshfield Manor--so I was delighted to see this third volume in the Marshfield Manor series. Having survived two murders in a relatively short time at the mansion, Grace is early on in this book confronted with a third murder, an intricate robbery scheme, and a love affair gone wrong. The final scenes will have you biting your fingernails. Grace remains true to character, proves unexpectedly brave when all depends on it, and deepens her relationship with mansion owner Bennett as well as her likeable roommates, Scott and Bruce. She even sort of reaches a truce with her truculent assistant Frances. But will she ever straighten out her love life? This is one of those you hate to finish, but I hope we see more of Grace--and Ollie.

I like this series a lot. The characters are easy to remember and the plot is usually clean and clear. The culprit in this caper was clear to me from the beginning. That being said, I was still absorbed in the book and read it cover to cover in one sitting. All in all a fun, enjoyable read with interesting twists and turns.

Julie Hyzys' new book, "Grace Among Thieves" is a real page turner. After the murder takes place, your sure you have it all figured out....surprise, you don't! Each character is well defined, you feel Graces confusion throughout the book. I loved this book! In the end, not only is the mystery solved, but you see the human side of Grace (yet again).

I have read just about all of Julie Hyzy's books and have NEVER been disappointed! Julie is one talented writer who lures you into her stories and leaves you wanting more. Grace Among Thieves is no exception! Once I finish the book I bring it to my 94 year old grandmother, yes, I said 94! She LOVES Julie's books and always asks me if I have pre-ordered the next book! Yes grandma, yes I have!! Grandma Mae loved Grace Among Thieves and to quote her, "I started it after you dropped it off around 5:00pm and finished it at 2:30 the next morning! I couldn't put it down!!" I don't think you can get a better recommendation that that!! Make sure you pick up a book by Julie Hyzy, you will NOT be disappointed!

I really enjoy Julie Hyzy mysteries! They are a quick fun read! The Manor of Murder series is a delight to read. Along with her White House Chef series. I love reading these during my summer vacation time!
In this book I did figure out who did it. But I have read so many mysteries I think I just have picked up the knack of figuring that out. However that does not make this a bad read. It was a joy to read right up to the last page and I anxiously wait for the next book.
