Delivery took about a week. Quality of product was good, somewhat more difficult to load a quilt than I anticipated. Quilting position is comfortable though.

Grace EZ3 3 Rail Quilting Frame - FF-EZ3,

Brand new out of the box, this was sort of a pain in the behind, because it needed to be assembled by someone with more mechanical know-how than I possessed, and it also needed to be stained, if you want to have it not warp. So, after nearly a week of sanding, staining, and assembly time, I was able to start setting the quilt layers on it.Anyway, that was the only downside. I love the way you can adjust the angle to work.

Thoroughly disappointed,

I waited 3 years to order this quilt frame as I pictured it like in the picture. It arrived in pieces without the hardware. They sent the hardware. I struggled to put the frame together piece by piece when I had a few spare moment. Finally I was ready for the last step with the wheels only to discover I was missing some more parts. I also discovered that every time I would want to change the width, I would have to reinstall the rods. I read the directions for actually putting my quilt on the frame and was also disappointed to learn I don't have any bungie cords. Totally frustrated, I put the frame away with the parts. I haven't decided if I will try to get the last pieces or not. I just may have to chalk it up to money down the drain and avoid this company at all costs.

Tubing,

My DH got me the Grace EZ3 quilting frame for Christmas. Today I tried to attach fabric (leader) with the tubing to no avail. So I worked it without fabric. After 45 minutes, broken nails, skinned fingers, tears, and many choice words I got the tubing in and not sure I ever want to take it out again. Will it always be this difficult? If so I don't think this frame is going to work for me.The product came with all the pieces and parts and DH got it together in a timely manner. In all fairness I can't really rate the product. I am waiting for an email back from the Grace company about the too tight tubing. Until then I am unable to use the frame. There has to be a trick they didn't mention in the manual, to make it work more easily. |
