Having worked in Hospice as a social worker the "Quick Steps of Holy Action" in each chapter of Grace on the Go for Compassionate Caregivers is right on the mark. I highly recommend Barbara's book to everyone who is a caregiver, or gifting it to anyone you know who is one. It helped me so much that I will gift it to my care giving friends. Though it is a small book in size it is a generous one in heart and wisdom. Bartocci's warm stories, and practical suggestions made me realize that we caregivers often feel weird, alone, or insecure. Her book reassures us that we are experiencing the natural and normal range of human emotions. This book is like having a personal coach and companion in how to care for ourselves while caring for another.
