Oliva Newton-John's Grace and Gratitude is inspired by her belief that music has the power to heal by calming our minds, lifting our spirits and connecting to our hearts. Named for Olivia's appreciation of the gift of life, Grace and Gratitude contains over 20 tracks intended for relaxation and healing. As an eighteen-year breast cancer "thriver," Olivia has learned the importance of physical and emotional health, and especially the power of music. Research has shown that music can lower stress hormones, slow down brain waves and actually boost the body's own healing process.
Co-written by the album's producer, Amy Sky, the lyrics acknowledge a variety of belief systems including, Tibetan chants, prayers from Judaism and Islam, and a poem from St. Francis of Assisi. Together, Olivia and Amy took the chakras of the body as the basis for each song on the CD. Each chakra is connected to a sacred truth that reflects your psychological, emotional and spiritual well-being.
"Music connects with the spirit and the heart and it was my realization of this that inspired me to create this CD," says Olivia Newton-John. "It is important to calm your mind and connect with your heart to find harmony and balance. Music always helped me in my healing and now it is my hope that it inspires healing in others."

Grace and Gratitude -Renewed is the rework of an amazing album: Grace and Gratitude. If the original was good and sincere, the renewed version proved that somthing really good can be even better when the artist really likes the specific piece of work. In G&G-R, Olivia's voice is perfect: clearer, sharper, full of soul and body. Certain songs have been reworked as duets To be wanted (with Mark Masri) and I will lift up my eyes (with Amy Sky) in both cases the voices blend perfectly. The arrengements have been improved same as the vocal harmonizations. This Renewed version is much more alive and relaxing. The new song Help me to heal is simply beautiful and olivia's voice shows to be better than ever. In every way a CD that should be a best seller!!

this is a master piece! The Music , the production and the lyrics are perfect!the whole songs are for me are 10/10.
I was amazed with Talaa al badru alyna which is better than the version i listen to during the month of ramadan maybe because the voice of the singer and the music are stunning.
I just dont want to name any song ! all songs are great ---every house , family , men women ...."humans" should go to the store and get this CD and listen to just to heal and calm themsleves.
lot of good things we learn from this CD ....please explore it urself.

Olivia has been recording for nearly 40 years with four Grammy Awards, Five Number One Singles and a dozen Gold and Platinum albums to her credit.
Masterpiece is the only word that I can think of to describe "Grace and Gratitude Renewed". Olivia's voice has never sounded better, and Amy Sky's production is pure brilliance. Some of the songs have been re-recorded with new vocals and instrumentation (hence the word "Renewed" in the album's title). "Grace And Gratitude Renewed" is definately Grammy worthy. The newly recorded duets with Mark Masri, Marc Jordan and Amy Sky are a perfect blend of beautiful voices, each performed with grace and poise. The most upbeat and pop oriented song on the album is the newly recorded "Help Me To Heal", which is exclusive to this CD, and should definitely find its way to AC radio. "Grace And Gratitude Renewed" concludes with "Instrument Of Peace" which is a masterpiece on it's own. The disc is over an hour of music for healing, ralaxation and meditation.

Excellent, as usual.
Olivia performs wonderfully in each song she does. I am blessed to have known her since October of 1986 and to have seen her perform at the Opera House in Sydney last week!

Olivia still is one of the greatest
Renewed is great. I love the original and the renewed is just as great. The additions that are made are well worth having in my collection. Olivia only keeps getting better.
