This review is from: Grace Kelly, American Princess (DVD)
Her name is famous in Japan, but various things are not known well.
I was able to know her life with this DVD. It is the document story that this picture is splendid, and is sad beautifully. However, it does not have a mistake that she is a true American princess.

SUPER MOVIE COLLECTION,

EXCELLENT MOVIE THAT POTRAYED THE PRINCESS FROM HER CHILDHOOD TO STARDOM AND BECOMING THE AMERICAN PRINCESS OF MONACO THAT MAKES HER COUNTRY, AMERICA PROUD OF HER!
GRACE KELLY IS A REAL FINE LADY. ALTHOUGH AMERICAN BORN, AND LOVED TO BE AN ACTRESS, SHE DENIED THE OFFER OF ALFRED HITCHCOCK TO BE A STAR IN ONE OF HIS MOVIES. THE REASON WAS BECAUSE THE PEOPLE OF MONACO WHO HAD LOVED HER AS THEIR OWN PRINCESS WERE NOT HAPPY OF HER GOING BACK AS AN ACTRESS AGAIN. ALTHOUGH PRINCE RANIER PERMITTED PRINCESS GRACE TO ACCEPT ALFRED HITCHCOCK'S OFFER TO BE THE STAR IN HIS MOVIE, PRINCESS KELLY DENIED THE OFFER BECAUSE HER LOYALTY TO THE PEOPLE IN MONACO. I ALSO BOUGHT SEVERAL MOVIES OF GRACE KELLY TO BE ONE OF MY CLASSIC COLLECTIONS. I PURCHASED AS WELL GRACE KELLY MOVIES: MOGAMBO, TO CATCH A THIEF, COUNTRY GIRL, HIGH SOCIETY, AND DIAL "M" FOR MURDER. GRACE KELLY IS A GREAT AND PROFESSIONAL ACTRESS! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE MOVIES! RATED BY: BRILI

A 'must' for the legions of Grace Kelly fans,
By Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Grace Kelly, American Princess (DVD)
Born to a wealthy and competitive Philadelphia family, Grace Kelly was a lovely and talented woman who went from model, to stage and television actress, to movie star, to becoming the Princess of Monaco. Ably narrated by Richard Kiley, "Grace Kelly: The American Princess" is part of the Janson Media 'The Hollywood Collection' DVD series and presents the life and death of one of America's most beloved celebrities. This one-hour biography is enhanced further with the inclusion of a Grace Kelly Photo Gallery; an interview with filmmaker Gene Feldman about Grace Kelly which aired on the television show 'Good Morning America'; and a 'Meet the Producers' segment. "Grace Kelly: The American Princess" is a 'must' for the legions of Grace Kelly fans and would make a popular addition to community library DVD collections.

Grace Kelly .... the Blonde European Jackie O,

This review is from: Grace Kelly, American Princess (DVD)
Grace Kelly was the prized debutant of Philadelphia as Jackie Bouvier was to New York Society. A cool, crisp, classy and collected blonde counterpart to Jackie's raven mystique ... Grace Kelly exuded the same athletic and sophisticated image that took her to Hollywood and later Monaco. If Jackie was America's Queen ... Grace was a true Princess even if she had to leave the US to wear a crown.

I enjoyed this biography on Princess Grace very much. It did show some private scenes of the Princess that I had never seen before.
