Grace and Mercy, December 31, 2002
The harmonies on "Give Praise" are wonderful! I have no doubt that this music was inspired by the One who died on the Cross, yet rose from the dead. As a gospel singer, I listen for the message, the diction and articulation. This CD exceeds all of these requirements. God has smiled on this CD. May He continue using Marvin Sapp!

He Does It Again!, October 11, 2001

Marvin Sapp, you have an anointed ministry, and I want to say you're blessed. For those of you who listens to his music, you know he can sing, but do you know he can preach?! He is a very anointed man of God, and the message I heard was dynamite! Give Praise is a wonderful, worship song, and I love to worship. I know Bishop William Abney, who has preached at my church before (and he can preach, too). Those who don't have it, you must get it!!

After the U.S. attack, this album restored my faith....., September 23, 2001
This review is from: Grace & Mercy (Audio CD)
After listening to this song intermittenly on gospel radio stations for many years, I finally called in to get the name of the artist who sang "Not the time, not the place". Feeling remorse for the innocent men and women of the World Trade Center attack, Marvin Sapp's song renewed my faith and spirit. In fact, I had to pull over to the side of the road to compose myself after hearing these lyrics, "This is not the time for giving up This is not the place where you should be to lie in defeat You gotta hold on, you gotta be strong This is not the time to question your faith Not the time, nor the place to throw in the towel This is not your time of destiny Not the time nor the place You gotta press on, you gotta move on.." With powerful lyrics and soothing music in times like these, how can one not have this album?
