5.0 out of 5 stars Divine Perfection - A Soundtrack for my Life, March 26, 2005

This review is from: Grace (Audio CD)
With an extensive music library, I find myself returning almost exclusively to Snatam Kaur. I have every one of her CD's on constant rotation in my home, car, and office. Not only do I absolutely love listening, meditating, and living to her music. But I've come to realize that I operate from a better and more loving place when I have her playing in the background while at my demanding and high-profile job in the corporate offices of a fortune 50 company.

With so much gratitude, thank you Snatam for becoming the soundtrack to my life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Divine and simply heavenly, December 14, 2004
This review is from: Grace (Audio CD)
Just when I thought that it would be hard to trump her earlier two albums (Prem & Shanti), Snatam's latest gift to the world is simply a gem.

The first track (Ong Namo) always transports me to a state of blissful humility. It is hard not to feel the grace that Snatam probably felt in giving life to this shabad (devotional music).

The rest of the tracks are just as unique and glorious. Thank you Snatam for sharing your gift with the world. Many blessings!

Devine beauty delivered in a soul revitalizing blend of eastern and western harmonics. She is even better live if you get a chance to see her.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerfully Angelic, November 29, 2004

This music is perfect for raising your spirits and getting in touch with your deepest secret self. It is musically sophisticated while keeping a pureness of heart. Every time I listen to it different parts of the music come forward and touch me in ever deeper ways. The vocals are lush and powerful and the melodies keep things flowing nicely. I keep this CD in the car with me as a constant companion for the long drives that are a part of my work week, to keep me from losing perspective in stessful times and just when I want to hear some beautiful and inspiring music. Highly Recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the most beautiful CDs I have ever heard, November 11, 2004
This review is from: Grace (Audio CD)
I have been a fan of Snatam Kaur Khalsa's music for many years and have noted her development as a shining star in the firmament of inspiration music, but her newest album exceeds even my high expectations of her.
Grace is extraordinary in every way.The sacred songs and mantras speak directly to the heart and soul of the listener. Beauty, power and joy fill every track.
I heard only one track and immediately knew that I needed a copy. Since my birthday was coming up, I asked for it from the first person to ask me what I wanted. But after a few days I realized that I could not wait the 2 weeks till my birthday and had to have it sooner. Since then I have listened to it daily, and each time I find more depth and inspiration.
I cannot recommend it highly enough if you enjoy lovely music that inspires inner peace and fulfillment.

The Sikh Princess has smashed it again with this fascinating third album. Different from her first two and more experimental, it takes a few listens to get into. Snatam's voice is divine as usual and the two English songs are an interesting inclusion. Apart from her strange pronounciation of 'Sa-ta-na-ma' on 'By thy grace' (?!) it's all good. A must buy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Angelic Voice that brings me peace and calmness, December 23, 2006

I had no idea if I would like this CD and Singer, but now that I have recieved the CD, her voice is so smooth and sweet as honey, calming, peaceful, and makes me feel like everything is good in the world. It's great for relaxing to, background music, massage, yoga, driving, and graceful or slow flow-like dancing. It would be good as a cool-down music after a good work-out too. If it were sound track to a movie, it would be great for beautiful landscape or the uplifting feel good end of a movie when everything turned out the way you were hoping it would. My husband is very sound-sensative and auditorily tuned-in, and remarked, "Her voice is beautiful!" He says the about very few voices. I am glad I took the chance on this CD, and don't regret it at all. I will definately order some more of her CDs, now that I hear how great she is. I am pleased with my purchas!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great as yoga music, February 10, 2007
By
This review is from: Grace (Audio CD)
I heard this music during my yoga class at the local recreation center and asked the instructor what it was. I then purchased it on Amazon and have been listening to it in the car and at home. My daughter even listens to it before going to bed to wind down. I love the first song particularly and the title song.
