Product Description

Like the Z44, the EZ3 is a convenient, adjustable hand quilting frame. The three-rail, no-baste work area can tilt to four different angles. All adjustments can be made and locked in place without the need of any tools, just the knobs that come on the frame. The EZ3 also folds up for space-saving storage.

It took about 3 hours to put together and the instructions on how to put your lead cloth on is not informative.

The Grace website offers packages of the frame, leaders and clamps but not just the leaders.

Thanks to my Sister-in-Law for guiding me to this quilting frame. After getting this monster together I think I am going to love it. I didn't have my leader cloth on but I used it anyway it was great. Use 1/2 inch wrench not 9/16. After reading the directions many times and putting one side on backwards it finally got together right. No it won't fit under my couch like the picture or under my bed so it will be a conversation piece in my living room.If I keep a quilt in it maybe I'll get Grandkids helping. I will enjoy it very much.

I have been looking for the perfect frame for my mother who is in a wheelchair. It took me two days to put it together, but I wanted to make no mistakes because it appeared that there were no extra hardware, and I was right. The process was fun for the both of us. We were so excited to get to use it, but was unable to because there were necessary accessories which were not mentioned in the original advertisement. Also was not mentioned on the packaging. We were able to make our own fabric guides. Mom is a quilting fool now. Great and EASY to use. Delivery from Amazon was really fast and the free shipping was a plus. Love this product, love Amazon......

I was looking for a frame to replace the one my mother had used. I wasn't a quilted until my mother passed away several years ago and I had promised to finish a quilt she had started for her great granddaughter, which I did. since then we have kept up a tradition of hand quilting for all new members of the family and the task for the finished product keeps falling back to me. I had discovered several quilt tops that my mother had finished or was in the process of completing and recently decided to finish them. Her old frame was bulky but the biggest problem was the cats would jump on it and make a mess. When I came across this frame it seemed to fit the bill. After reading several reviews it ordered it, and I must mention that one reviewed had stated use a 1/2 wrench instead of the 9/16ths and I agree. At any rate it's up and the quilt is on. As it'a a one piece top and bottom I did not use any starter and it's just fine. I am curious about one thing but I'll think about it as I go along and that's the difference in the distance of the batting and the overall length as it's wound up, as I had already started the assembly of the quilt prior to the frame arriving I had basted all parts and then undid it so the batting had been cut to length, when wound up on the last roll of course it seemed longer but I worked it out :). I look forward to using the frame now quite often.

I wanted a portable frame that can fold up when not in use to hand quilt my own and handed down quilt tops. This one seems best. I read a lot of reviews before buying and found that the cloth leaders did not come with the product which frustrated other buyers so I wasn't surprised by not finding them in the box. The Grace website offers packages of the frame, leaders and clamps but not just the leaders. Not sure why leaders and clamps don't come with the frame. You can buy lengths of leaders and clamps at Nancy's Notions. Assembly was fine even though other reviewers found parts missing or other problems. I haven't started quilting yet but am happy with the frame and think it will do the job for me.

The frame was meant as a Christmas gift. It arrived without the nuts and bolts (due to damaged packaging). We emailed the seller who promptly responded with a phone # for the manufacturer. They sent the hardware 2nd day post to make sure we got it in time for Christmas. Makes you want to cry for joy. The quilt frame is excellent also. Very well made and user friendly.

Putting it together was a snap.
Quilting on it was wonderful according to my wife and a friend who did the first quilt together.

The assembly instructions had several errors. One part had the incorrect size screw hole tapped, and one of the wooden cross beams had the screw hole drilled incorrect.

The product overall is good and my wife is happy with the way it functions. As the person that had to assembly it, I was not so satisfied.

It is a nice frame, very well made. It is not easy to put together. It took about 3 hours to put together and the instructions on how to put your lead cloth on is not informative. Had to write company and it to them 7 days to get back in touch with me.
